Turquoise blue - the carnation on the buttonhole
During the French Revolution, the red carnation was a symbol of the nobles who were guillotined. Since 1889, the red carnation has also shone as a buttonhole flower for socialism. This silk carnation is exclusively available from us in the color turquoise. It is worn with a tuxedo and therefore has a black silk stem that, once it peeks out from behind the lapel, is almost invisible.
The buttonhole carnation - special features
There is an almost forgotten craftsmanship in every buttonhole (cannot be compared in the least with products from Far Eastern countries). Plastic is not used; every flower is built up properly and not simply plugged together or glued on. Even today, recipes that are up to a hundred years old serve as the basis for fabric coloring.

Handcraft from Saxony
There is old craftsmanship in every boutonnière - since 1834. Not to be compared with products from the Far East. No plastic. The flower is carefully constructed and not just put together or glued. Old original recipes serve as the basis for silk dyeing.
