From Naples: the hand-rolled silk handkerchief
Some time ago, when we were able to win over the traditional company Calabrese as a supplier and manufacturer in Naples, it was particularly important to us to wallow in old pattern books and to order from them. Some of the skilful women who still have the necessary patience for this craft are already retired.

We learned more about the family business, which is now run by the third and fourth generations of Gaetano and Annalisa Calabrese. Always in the spirit of the company founder, Don Eugenio Calabrese, who, in addition to ties and bows, has been producing highly elegant handkerchiefs with carefully hand-rolled or crocheted colored edges since the 1920s. A rarity today. Only a few companies still bother with needle and thread.
