Some time ago, when we were able to win over the traditional company Calabrese as a supplier and manufacturer in Naples, it was particularly important to us to wallow in old pattern books and to order from them. Some of the skilful women who still have the necessary patience for this craft are already retired.

We learned more about the family business, which is now run by Gaetano and Annalisa Calabrese in the third and fourth generation. Always in the spirit of the company founder Don Eugenio Calabrese, who since the 1920s has been producing not only bow ties and ties but also highly elegant pocket squares with carefully hand-rolled or crocheted colored edges. Today a rarity. Only a few businesses still take the effort with needle and thread.
