From German and French production: vintage cufflinks with glass crystals from the 1950s to the 1980s. We were able to secure a bundle from the remaining stock.
Shimmering glass crystals and rolled gold
Unless otherwise indicated, the cufflinks are made of gold double: a robust and durable gold plating, also known as rolled gold. The term "Doublé" (English: rolled gold, French: or laminé) is considered a quality feature and has been protected in Germany since 1923. According to DIN 8237, the fineness of the coating may not be specified. This would be contrary to the Stamp Act. And who could disagree with this? The beautiful glowing glass crystals used here shimmer depending on the light and vary slightly (and downright excitingly) in colour. An eye catcher.
