Striped 'Regiment' silk knit ties
Since 1932 Carlo Fumeo is maker of the finest knitted ties. All on historical machines - and with a lot of manual work. We found numerous striped ones in the old pattern books from the 1930s, f.e. knit ties in Gatsby style - and thus developed our collection on site.
Knitted ties with history
Both ends (!) of our striped ties also come to a point. This requires skilful manual work, which we particularly value in small manufacturers with history and expertise. Inside, a ribbon made of silk grosgrain ensures stability when tying the knitted tie.
Polka Dot Knit Ties
Our dotted knitted ties are also made in Italy on historic circular knitting machines. The dots are then embroidered.
Patterned silk ties
In Carlo Fumeo's sample books we discovered designs from the 1920s that we particularly liked. A whole collection was created.
