Special feature: the leather buckle

For us parts of the leather used are handcrafted split open to cover the buckle. This is a very elegant detail - and requires some skill.

The people behind

In Veneto we discovered a family business that makes braided belts by hand for us. In the picture father and son: Mirco and Massimiliano Merlo. The leather is processed on site in the manufactory. The buckles are covered with leather exclusively for us.

The picture shows Massimiliano sewing one of our hand-woven leather belts. The buckle is not yet covered with leather - a special feature of the models made exclusively for us. He probably has to replace them - otherwise the final inspection won't work.

Special feature
