Such a flame flower, better known as a phlox, rarely comes alone. In nature they come in beautiful panicles; at the buttonhole of the gentleman therefore based on this in a third. The silk flowers are white with a very light yellowish tinge. An elegant addition to a dark jacket, but also to tailcoats and tuxedos, if you want something more subtle.
In every flower there is an almost forgotten craftsmanship (absolutely not to be compared with products from Far Eastern countries). Plastic is not used here; every boutonnière is built up and not simply put together or glued on. Recipes up to a hundred years old serve as the basis for dyeing the fabric.
