The color magenta is not exactly correct, because it is a hand-dyed silk with a beautiful color gradient from light pink to the darker center of the flower. Perfect for the elegant evening suit in black. Tailcoat, tuxedo!
The buttonhole carnation in detail
There is an almost forgotten craftsmanship in every buttonhole (cannot be compared in the least with products from Far Eastern countries). Plastic is not used; every flower is built up properly and not simply plugged together or glued on. Even today, recipes that are up to a hundred years old serve as the basis for fabric coloring.

Handcraft from Saxony
There is old craftsmanship in every boutonnière - since 1834. Not to be compared with products from the Far East. No plastic. The flower is carefully constructed and not just put together or glued. Old original recipes serve as the basis for silk dyeing.
