This yellow carnation is smaller than our other models and provides an elegant dash of color in the buttonhole. A classic especially with tuxedos and tailcoats. The stem consists of a flexible wire loop that has been carefully wrapped with black silk.

The buttonhole carnation in detail

There is an almost forgotten craftsmanship in every buttonhole (cannot be compared in the least with products from Far Eastern countries). Plastic is not used; every flower is built up properly and not simply plugged together or glued on. Even today, recipes that are up to a hundred years old serve as the basis for fabric coloring.

Handarbeit aus Sachsen

In jeder Boutonnière steckt eine alte Handwerkskunst - seit 1834. Nicht zu vergleichen mit Produkten aus Fernost. Kein Plastik. Die Blüte wird sorgsam aufgebaut und nicht nur zusammengesteckt oder geklebt. Alte Original-Rezepte dienen als Grundlage der Seidenfärbung.
