The silk cornflower on the lapel

In Germany the cornflower has been known as the “Prussian flower” since the 19th century, in Estonia it is even the national flower and in France the Bleuet de France (“Cornflower of France”) is a symbol of the memory of the victims of the war. In addition, the blue flower is a central symbol of romance. Here she symbolizes longing and love as well as the pursuit of the infinite. Here our model in a color scheme that is not (yet) intended in nature.

To make your boutonnière

In every flower there is an almost forgotten craftsmanship (absolutely not to be compared with products from Far Eastern countries). Plastic is not used here; every boutonnière is built up and not simply put together or glued on. Recipes up to a hundred years old serve as the basis for dyeing the fabric.

The production

There is old craftsmanship in every boutonnière - since 1834. Not to be compared with products from the Far East. No plastic. The flower is carefully constructed and not just put together or glued. Old original recipes serve as the basis for silk dyeing.
