This boutonnière offers a quick excursion into Greek mythology: For example, the beautiful young man Hyakinthos was rather accidentally transported into the afterlife by the god Apollo by throwing a disc. In sorrow, Apollo turned his favorite's drops of blood into flowers. Name day for hyacinth is August 17th. Here are the variations: Hyacinth (English), Jacinto (Spanish), Hyacinthe (French), Giacinto (Italian), Jacek (Polish) and Jácint (Hungarian).

Pure beauty on the buttonhole

In every flower there is an almost forgotten craftsmanship (not to be compared with products from Far Eastern countries). Plastic is not used here; any boutonnière is literally built up and not simply plugged together or glued on. Recipes up to a hundred years old serve as the basis for dyeing the fabric.

Handarbeit aus Sachsen

In jeder Boutonnière steckt eine alte Handwerkskunst - seit 1834. Nicht zu vergleichen mit Produkten aus Fernost. Kein Plastik. Die Blüte wird sorgsam aufgebaut und nicht nur zusammengesteckt oder geklebt. Alte Original-Rezepte dienen als Grundlage der Seidenfärbung.
