Flaming orange

Chrysanthemums have been cultivated in China for 1,600 years and were brought to Europe in the 17th century. In Japan it is the national and imperial seal. In the 1910s and 1920s, the chrysanthemum flower was popular in gentlemen's buttonholes. Here is our version in an orange with a special radiance, perfect for tuxedos (black tie) and tailcoats (white tie).

Berlin boxes

The boutonnière boxes are made for us in the Neukölln district by one of the oldest family businesses in Berlin, founded in 1869 as a hat box manufacturer. High-quality fine cardboard packaging with tradition - in the fifth generation.

The archive

Here, carefully preserved for more than a hundred years, are the historical stamping molds that are still used today. Each buttonhole flower is created by hand. Each boutonnière is a unique piece that should be protected from moisture and rough handling.

The making

Handicraft from Saxony

In every boutonnière lies an ancient craftsmanship - since 1834. Not to be compared with products from the Far East. No plastic. The flower is carefully constructed and not just assembled or glued. Old original recipes serve as the basis for the silk dyeing.
