Boutonnière - the purple silk flower
There are more than 400 species of geraniums, so it is not surprising that this purple cranesbill looks so completely different than some of its conspecifics. And it is the same with the wearer: the buttonhole boutonnière makes a difference. Whether this is done more or less eccentrically or very discreetly - that is up to each gentleman himself. The world belongs to the brave!
The buttonhole - three flowers
In every blossom (and here there are three) there is an almost forgotten craftsmanship (cannot be compared in the least with products from Far Eastern countries). Plastic is not used; every flower is built up properly and not simply plugged together or glued on. Recipes up to a hundred years old serve as the basis for dyeing the fabric.

Here, carefully preserved for more than a hundred years, are the historical dies that are still used today. Each boutonniere is made by hand. Each boutonnière is unique and should be protected from moisture and rough hands.
Handcraft from Saxony
There is old craftsmanship in every boutonnière - since 1834. Not to be compared with products from the Far East. No plastic. The flower is carefully constructed and not just put together or glued. Old original recipes serve as the basis for silk dyeing.
