Crimson - that's how we would describe the color of this silk lapel flower. Significantly more muted than our bright red model and with a slight blue component. The stem consists of a flexible wire sleeper that has been carefully wrapped with black silk. Perfect with a tuxedo. Optionally also available with a green wrapped stem.
There is an almost forgotten craftsmanship in every buttonhole (cannot be compared in the least with products from Far Eastern countries). Plastic is not used; every flower is built up properly and not simply plugged together or glued on. Even today, recipes that are up to a hundred years old serve as the basis for fabric coloring.

A gorgeous and versatile boutonniere that works wonders on a dinner suit or tailcoat, but also works amazingly on a more stately suit such as a double breasted suit or a flannel grey suit with a peak lapel. The colour is surreal and quite hard to correctly capture on camera, as it can look somewhat pink to a deep red depending on the light, which gives it a bit more personality compared to a "regular" red carnation.
