A particularly delicate buttonhole in subtle pink and particularly finely crafted pistils. Not only the starched, dyed and punched silk in our boutonnières is made entirely by hand, but also the extremely filigree pistils. This is an art in itself and, in this form, an extinct craft that is only practiced in the Saxon Switzerland. Without machines and without plastic parts.
In every flower, here there are two and one bud, there is an almost forgotten craftsmanship (cannot be compared with products from the Far East). Plastics are not used; each boutonniere is built up individually and not just put together from prefabricated parts or glued on. Incidentally, this is called "blümeln" - an almost extinct craft. Original recipes up to a hundred years old serve as the basis for fabric coloring.
Care instructions: Protect the boutonnière from moisture and always keep it in the gift box provided. Every boutonnière box will exclusive by one of the oldest family businesses in Berlin, founded in 1869 as a hat box manufacturer, made in the Neukölln district.
