German Alpine Corps, Austrian Armed Forces, Swiss Army and Mountain Rescue - the edelweiss has enjoyed a lot of attention for a long time. In Switzerland it also symbolizes tourism and adorns the five-franc coin (five-franc coin). Worn as a lapelflower, it always stands for a bond with the mountain world.
