Black braided leather belt

An elegant, fine braided leather belt made from hand-braided leather. Just like our suspenders collection, we also have the leather belts produced in a family-run business near Venice, Italy. Each belt is individually and carefully handcrafted. For us parts of the leather used are split to cover the buckle. This is a very elegant detail - and requires some craftsmanship.

The people behind it

In Veneto, we discovered a family business that handcrafts woven belts for us. In the picture, father and son: Mirco and Massimiliano Merlo. The leather is processed on-site in the workshop. The buckles are exclusively wrapped in leather for us.

Here in the picture, Massimiliano is sewing one of our hand-woven belts. The buckle is not yet covered with leather here - a special feature of the models made exclusively for us. He still has to replace it - otherwise, it won't work out in the end with the quality control.
